Xiaomi brought their flagship device Mi 6 in Pakistan back in August this year with huge 6GB of RAM. The Chinese manufacturer has now come up with another variant of Mi 6 for those who don’t need the extra 2GB.

The new version brings 4GB LPDDR4 RAM module along with 64GB of internal storage. Remember the base model at the time of launch used to offer 6GB and 128GB combination in memory.

The rest of the specs are pretty much the same as the previous version. The display remains the same at 5.15″ IPS LCD 1080p panel, which is enough for most situations, apart from VR perhaps.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 835 processor with its eight cores There’s a fingerprint scanner on the back, below the dual 12 MP camera setup (wide-angle plus telephoto) with 4K video and LED Flash. The front features an 8 MP camera.

The battery capacity is set at 3,350 mAh and supports Quick Charge 3.0.

Pricing and Availability

Lowering the memory comes with lowering the price tag. The 4GB variant is priced at CNY 2299 (~$345) rather than CNY 2499 (~$375) for the 6GB. That is a difference of around $30, which is just about right for a lowly-priced flagship phone.
