Xiaomi has finally unveiled the next generation of its famous phablet series ‘MI Max’ with huge screen and even bigger battery. However, the new entrant dubbed as Mi Max 3 is kept well within reach of Mi fans having an affordable price tag.

The new phablet comes with a massive display, dual camera setup on the rear, a gigantic battery backup and an affordable price tag. Moreover, the Mi Max 3 follows the present trend of 18:9 display with thinner bezels all around. The metal-based design is admittedly quite clean-looking, available in Black, Gold, and Blue.

The Mi Max 3 houses a fairly large display on the front measuring 6.9-inch in size stirring to the tablet category with FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels at a good enough pixel density of 350 PPI. The Mi Max 3 has no on-screen buttons this time, so the overall size should be the same as Mi Max 2.

Mi Max 3 is a dual SIM supported phablet by default that runs on latest Android 8.1 Oreo with Xiaomi’s MIUI 9.5 lying on top. Under the hood, you get the mid-tier Snapdragon 636 processor with eight Kryo cores. You have two options for memory combos; 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB.

The photography department of the new phablet is dominated by a dual camera setup on the rear comprising of 12MP primary lens with 1.4um pixels for enhanced lighting in photos as well as AI assist in the final output along with a 5MP secondary one. However, the front shooter comes with an 8 MP lens.

The mi Max 3 is fuelled by an enormous 5,500 mAh battery that seems impressive because of its 7.99mm waistline. Thanks for having Quick Charge 3.0 features to recharge the phablet in quick time.
