Xiaomi grabbed popularity because of its affordable devices with competitive specs. One of such device is the Redmi Note 4 launched this tear that clutched positive response from masses just because of its lower price tag. Xiaomi fans are expecting even better successor to the Note 4 next year.
A healthy sign appears on tech blogs as a smartphone having model number MEE7 has appeared on TENNA and the experts believe it is Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5.
Features Revealed So Far
According to the details revealed by TENNA, there comes a 5.99-inch FHD+ display having 2160×1080 screen resolution, a microSD card slot, Dual SIM options and a powerful 4,000 mAh battery. And of course, today’s trend of thin bezels all around.
The device will come in two variants i.e. 3GB/ 32GB combo and 4GB/ 64GB combination of RAM and ROM. We will have a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. The device will feature fingerprint scanner on the back beneath the camera.
Redmi Note 5 will run on MIUI 9 with an Android version of 7.1.2. No details of chipsets are provided so far but if we compare it with its predecessor that carried Snapdragon 625, the Note 5 may feature Snapdragon 630 presumably.
Pricing and Availability
Xiaomi is planning to unveil Redmi Note 5 in early 2018 making it available to Pakistan, India and other South Asian countries concurrently. Although there is no hint of official price of Note 5 but we anticipate to see Redmi Note 5 in Pakistan with price tag of not more than Rs. 20,000.
