Xiaomi, a leading Chinese brand, got massive response for its flagship device of 2017 – the Mi 6 due to its hefty specs sheet at affordable price tag. And now its successor – Xiaomi Mi 7 is in spotlight because of a bulk of rumors and reports suggesting even more powerful specs featuring Snapdragon 845 – the latest chipset by Qualcomm.

Sadly, the early rumors about its debut on Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 have been denied by the company. The critics say that all the brands including Xiaomi and Huawei have decided not to unveil their big guns in the upcoming tech event because the show would be grabbed by Samsung with its Galaxy S9 series.

Xiaomi Mi 7 – Leaked Specs Sheet

Although the Xiaomi Mi 7 is speculated to debut in early second quarter of this year but a screenshot showing the key specs of the device has driven our attention. As it can be seen in the image below, the Mi 7 features a 5.6-inch display that supports FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels sporting an aspect ratio of 18:9.

There is a Snapdragon 845 chipset under the hood to power the device up accompanied by an enormous 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. If the rumor becomes true, the Xiaomi Mi 7 would become the first Mi series smartphone to come with such a huge RAM.

The screenshot further hints at a gigantic 4,480 mAh battery pack to keep the lights on for the Mi 7; a remarkable upgrade as compared to Mi 6’s 3,350 mAh unit. Moreover, the upcoming device is also speculated to become the first Mi device equipped with wireless charging feature.

The screenshot further reveals that the user interface of the Xiaomi Mi 7 would be MIUI 8.1.30x; the latest build released on January 30th this year. All this makes the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 7 the next champion of Chinese brand for emerging markets like Pakistan and India.

It is also said that the above specs sheet would be reflected in the Mi 7 Plus whereas Xiaomi may bring another variant of regular Mi 7 with lower configuration as well featuring 6GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. However, all other particulars would remain the same for both siblings.
