Xiaomi Mi6 to come with Latest Chip, Dual Cameras and 6GB RAM – Rumors and Reports

Xiaomi Mi 6 is in headlines and rumors in tech blogs for its expected specifications and the launch date. Latest rumor suggests the new Mi6 will pack a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor which is a major upgrade from the previous rumors about the inclusion of Snapdragon 821.

Another report reveals that the Mi6 will include a dual rear camera although previously it was said the rear cameras will only come with the Mi6 Plus. Regardless of the inclusion of these cameras in Mi6 or Mi6 Plus, the cameras will have 12 MP + 20 MP image sensors. The Xiaomi Mi6 will be the successor to the Xiaomi Mi5 recording a huge success in the Chinese market.

The Mi6 is rumored to come in three versions; 4GB RAM with 32 GB ROM, 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage and a huge 6GB of RAM along with 256GB of internal memory. On the other hand, Mi6 Plus will come in two versions with 4GB and 8GB RAMs along with 64GB and 256GB of internal storage respectively.

The display will be a 5.2 inch HD one while the battery will have a 3000 mAh capacity. The phone will also include a USB Type-C port and run on the latest Android 7.0 instead of the previous Android version

Both these phones are expected to be launched in China on April 11.
