Xiaomi has performed better not only in the smartphones range but the larger-screened tablets with as well; especially the Mi Pad lineup consists of feature-rich tablets with premium-looking design and a relatively lower price tags. Xiaomi’s upcoming venture, dubbed as Mi Pad 4, will be the first one by the Chinese tech leader powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with noticeable upgrades over its predecessors.
Mi Pad 4 – Leaked Features
The previous Mi Pad 3 was launched a year ago and proved to be a decent midrange tablet powered by a MediaTek processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. The successor of the lineup was announced back in October last year but did not reveal any specifications by then. As people have come up on XDA-developers revealing some details of Mi Pad 4 using its leaked firmware files, it seems that we’re very near to see the tablet getting surfaced.
The Mi Pad 4 is supposed to carry a tall bezelless display because the firmware files are found instructing the Android operating system to show content based on an 18:9 ratio display. However, there is no clear indication of what kind of panel the tablet will have, but for now, it is expected to have a 320 dpi LCD instead of OLED.
Moreover, the build.prop file, which contains details of hardware such as serial numbers, model numbers, IMEI, and chipset information says that Mi Pad 4 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. Unfortunately, the files do not indicate RAM quantity, storage space, and availability of a fingerprint scanner.
Likewise, the camera configuration files reveal that the Mi Pad 4 will have a single 13MP OmniVision OV13855 rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 selfie shooter will also be over there on the front with the same f/2.0 aperture.
